"Master, is that true?" The question falls from your lips as you stand toe to toe with him. \n\n"Of course it is! I wouldn't lie to you," He was smiling again and you had begun to hate it. One hand grasped your arm, the other grabbing you by the hair. "But you weren't supposed to know." He dragged you to the table. Along the way you dropped the head. It rolled to face you as Master laid you down.\n\nHe said something.\n\nYou weren't listening.\n\nThat one eye looked so dead. Those scars looked so gruesome. The peeling skin, the revealed bone... was it really you? \n\nYou reached up to touch your face. Master had strapped down one hand and was working on your legs. He said it was your brother's. You had no memory of having a brother. Was he dead? Was the rest of your family... dead?\n\n"I'm going to have to fix you..." He pried your hand from your face, locking it in. A knife was in one hand in a few seconds. Then it was being driven into your chest and pulled down with enormous strength. You didn't want to watch but your gaze was fixed to the work he was doing. \n\n[[Satisfaction couldn't bring you back.|BAD END 5]]

You managed to get yourself together, pulling out onto the empty road once again. Not afraid. Not afraid. Couldn't be scared of anything. You weren't supposed to be. \n\nThe tears had stopped. It was hard to see through them, so that was good. A show of emotion... how unlike you. You lived to please your Master, right? \n\nJames's house was easy enough to find, though it was down one of the dirt roads. They were hard to spot since they blended in with the tan grasses. You had been to his house before so you could remember which path led to his. \n\nIt was a cute house, white with a black roof and shutters. Two stories with a barn out back. The build was a bit southern in comparison to others around. There was a porch that stretched all the way around the first floor. You remembered that you had iced tea with Master there before. \n\nWouldn't it be a tragedy if it burned down?\n\n[[Yes.|Knock]]\n\n[[No.|Burn]]
You climbed the ladder quickly. The smell down there was suffocating. After Kale bled out with the knife still embedded in his chest the room felt so small. So lonely. So dreadful.\n\nFrom the inside the cabinet door was more difficult to open. You managed after a few moments. The sound of it clattering open bounced off the empty walls. You heave yourself onto the kitchen floor, relishing the cold tile. Much better than bloodied stone.\n\n"There you are, <<print $playerName>>!" A voice called. You leap to your feet, turning in every direction. Nothing. "I knew it was you because Kale never opens the door so loudly." James entered the kitchen at the last word, smiling. He looked pleased with himself.\n\n"I..."\n\n"Can explain? You burned down my damn house three days ago! I saw that you fucker!" He folded his arms over his chest. "I don't know why you were down there, but I'm sure nothing ended well. And to think today I was going to tell you all about my name change! Never trust a robot."\n\nName change? You were confused at the statement. What was he talking about? In the moment you stood there contemplating what he was going on about, James took out a gun. Your eyes widened. \n\n"No, no! No time for fear. Jamie is gonna kill ya!" Jamie grinned and advanced. You had nowhere to go. "This girl's gonna shoot up the dickhead who wrecked all her hard work! Now I'm gonna destroy that damned robot brain of yours." She pointed the gun to your head.\n\nFive gunshots. You didn't see them, feel them, or hear them. But you knew that was the number. \n\n[[Bang. Bang. You're dead.|BAD END 6]]

"... Master...?" \n\nNo. Don't call him that. He doesn't deserve it. Not your kindness, not your anything. You hate him. Hate. Hate. Hate. A terrible human being. You are the superior race.\n\nYou confronted Master once again. It was now you noticed all the carnage on the walls. What exactly had happened here? And how long had it taken?\n\n"<<print $playerName>>... I knew you'd come for me... Please, forgive me for what I did," Master looked pitiful with tears staining his cheeks. "Please. Please. I can't live with myself if you leave me."\n\nYou were crouching in front of him now, wiping the tears from his eyes. "Don't cry. I came back," Perfect lips turned up in a smile. You didn't smile back. "Stand up."\n\nHe stood shakily, holding onto you. The poor man was blabbering now, going on and on about how scared he was to lose you. Shows him right, really. His fault for doing all those things to you. You did nothing wrong. His fault. \n\nIt was hard to strap him to the table once you led him there. Master was stronger than you, but he wasn't really paying attention. He kept talking about his 'love' for you. What a lie! This time you smiled down at him.\n\n"I once heard on TV that revenge was sweet," You snagged one of his sharp tools from an attachment to the table. It was positioned above his heart. You heard him scream; you watched him wriggle and tremble. \n\nBlood.\n\n[[Leave this place.|Leave]]
When you lit your arm on fire nothing hurt. It didn't hurt as the flesh fell away. That wasn't even real. Fake, stretchy synthetic material. How pitiful! You watched the flames die away as they hit metal.\n\nHow could you explain this to Master...? You pulled into the driveway and put the car in park. What went through your head to make you do these things. It was wrong and you were wrong. God dammit. He told you not to pull this shit ever again. \n\nBut you wanted it to hurt. Because that was real. And you didn't ever feel real on days you were sent out to buy groceries. Master said not to. This time he might kill you. There were no tears to cry for yourself.\n\nWorthless.\n\nFuck you.\n\nMaster... Love <<print $playerName>>, please.\n\n[[Go inside.|Inside]]\n\n[[Stay in the car.|Stay]]
He was talking to someone. When you turned the corner there was no one. Just Master sitting in a chair talking to a wall. Or... something that sat between his knees. A... head? You couldn't really tell. It was vaguely round.\n\n"<<print $playerName>>... So innocent. You agree, yes?" Master spoke softly. "I don't really love them, no. Just my prized creation. Those memories... all fabricated to make <<print $playerName>> happy. That isn't so cruel, is it? I can't have someone running around with such cruel, horrific memories. Humans like pleasant things."\n\nMaster paused as if waiting for a reply. \n\n"I know... not human... pity, pity..."\n\nYou stood frozen to your spot. Fabricated? That meant made up, didn't it? All these things you remembered about spending time with Master... weren't true? What was true? Six months ago did you really drop out of high school and get taken in by this kind scientist?\n\n"Ah... <<print $playerName>>..." Your body goes rigid. "I didn't say you could come in."\n\n"Well... Uh..."\n\n"And you have nothing to show of your efforts."\n\n"No... It's... too early, I guess. Should I go out again, Master?"\n\n"After hearing all that? No way," He grinned. No. "Come here."\n\nHelp.\n\nHelp.\n\nHelp.\n\n"Okay."\n\n"Do you know what I have in my hands, <<print $playerName>>?" \n\nYou inch towards him. "No..."\n\nHe hands you what he was speaking to moments before. Indeed it was a head, as you expected. The skin was a bit charred and unrecognizable from the right side. It was your head.\n\n"Wha—"\n\n"Remember the explosion where I found you? Well, you can't, of course, but I do. You looked so helpless... and perfect. I had to have you. I didn't really want you to find out about it. That you had blown up your place of learning. So I changed a few things. Science is amazing, isn't it?"\n\nYou shut your eyes tight. He's lying. But Master doesn't lie.\n\nA sigh escaped his lips. "I miss the way you looked before. It was a bit different since I couldn't accurately recreate your face with your kid brother's. You look too young now... You act too young now. I wonder how you acted before? Either way... it doesn't matter now. Come closer."\n\n[[Curiosity killed the cat.|Closer]]
You didn't really wake up, per say. Yes, you could see, but it wasn't like normal seeing. Everything in the room was visible to you. The colors were a bit different. You felt as if you could see more than usual. It was... strange. \n\n"What...?" Your voice worked fine. That was a good sign. You could move your limbs and turn your head. And you could see yourself. "What?"\n\nThat body looked pretty damn dead. Then again, it was just the skin. A gadget held it in human shape, but there was clearly nothing inside. Jamie was standing over it, scraping off layers of skin. \n\n"So it worked. Kale and I had been planning to do this for a while but he let me go ahead and do it myself. I was so pleased I never questioned it," She turned to eye you up and down. "Probably because he knew I'd fuck it up. Now you can goddamn see infrared. However that worked. Goddamn cyborgs are a pain to work with, but hey! You're a robot now. That's much easier. I'm sure Kale'll get you fixed up good."\n\nYou stood motionless. Robot? Not... human? You thought this new sight was what humans felt like. Wrong. This was so wrong. You were so close to being a real human. That's all you ever wanted ever since Master brought you home.\n\n"On the bright side, you don't have to take those damn pills anymore. You're free to go."\n\nGo where? Your home was with Master. He took care of you, loved you, and fixed you. Master was everything to you. You felt like you were going to cry, but it didn't happen. Nothing. You felt nothing. It was all manufactured emotion.\n\n"Kill me."\n\n"Huh?"\n\n"I want to be a human like you and Master," You cried. "Please. Please. <<print $playerName>> wants to be a human too." \n\nJamie chuckled, putting her tools down. She came over and patted you on the head. It felt nice. Master never did that. You smiled.\n\n"I can't do that."\n\nYou slumped to the floor, staring at the wall. Want to cry, want to cry. "Why not? Make <<print $playerName>> a human. You made <<print $playerName>> a robot. Make me a human. Please.... please... It's all <<print $playerName>> ever wanted."\n\n"God you're so annoying. I would've never asked Kale if I knew you'd be this much of a pain." Jamie sounded angry then. You'd never heard her angry before. She leaned over you. Nimble fingers pulled off the cover of your face. Your vision widened again.\n\nWhat was she—\n\n[[Your wish never came true.|BAD END 3]]

Killing was wrong. Yes? No? You didn't really know. You'd heard about killing from books and TV. It sounded like a bad thing. Master didn't do bad things, so could it really be bad? Death was... absolute. Master wouldn't do something like that... But he said he would. Master doesn't lie. \n\nYou stared at the ceiling above your bed. Calvin woke up. You heard faint screaming. Master was letting you hear it. So pained, so lonely. \n\nKilling had to be bad. \n\nWhen Master returned he came into your room and laid down beside you. His calm voice pointed out how your blood soaked into the sheets. For once, you didn't care what he had to say. Master wasn't always right. He was doing something bad. These people he 'killed' were never coming back. \n\nMaster gripped your hand, entwining his fingers with yours. Both of you stayed there in silence. No words were needed. You didn't want to be around this monster anymore. \n\n"Did you take your medicine tonight?" Master asked. \n\n"Yes," You lied. The medicine that kept you alive sat by the bathroom sink. It could only be made by Master. He trapped you here. "Thank you for taking care of me."\n\n"You don't have to thank me." \n\nWhy did he seem so calm? He couldn't know what was going to happen. Or did he? Master knew so much. You knew so little of the world. Is this why everyone thinks you don't understand what they're saying? You blink, thinking. You feel the emptiness where your arm used to be one more time.\n\nIt was time to learn of a concept called freedom.\n\nYou let your eyes flutter closed from exhaustion. And your body shutting down. Master would learn tomorrow. You felt his lips press against your hand, then lips, before you felt the nothingness of death.\n\n[[Does he truly deserve the title of 'Master'?|True]]
You woke up, rubbing your eyes before blinking a few times. Something important was happening today, wasn't it? It was Thursday. Important things always happened on Thursday, as if it was a ritual you must perform. Most of the time it was fun, but sometimes your master gave you boring tasks.\n\nToday was a fun day.\n\nSo you hurried to change into acceptable clothing and cook breakfast before Master woke up. You were in the kitchen in two minutes, gathering ingredients to make crepes. Strawberries and bananas were cut while eggs, flour, and other things were mixed into a liquid like batter. \n\nBy the time Master had woken up and joined you, everything was set. He looked exhausted and unhappy, which worried you. \n\n[[Ask him what's wrong?|What's wrong?]]\n\n[[Ignore it. He's fine.|Ignore]]
"Master..." You called after you opened the door. \n\nMaster came stumbling down the stairs and into the foyer. His hair was a mess, his clothes following suit. At the sight of Morvick he smiled and grabbed ver hand. \n\n"I'm glad you could make it! Thank you for showing him the way, <<print $playerName>>. You can go now." He said. Then he kissed you on the cheek, pushing you aside. \n\nYou were so happy. Acknowledgement. Master was happy. You did well. Nothing went wrong! \n\nSuddenly you felt tired. Walking around took a lot out of you. Perhaps you weren't in the best condition. Master would have to look at that when he was done with Morvick. You headed off to your room, curling up in the blankets. Before you fell asleep you heard the quiet echo of Master's laughing through the house.\n\n[[Good night.|Goodnight]]
It was easy to ignore.\n\nYou entered the kitchen, which was dirty. Kale left it that way without help. How sad. You grabbed Kale's phone, which was never really used, and dialed the only number you knew once you exited the house. \n\n“9-1-1. What is your emergency?”\n\n[["I have a story to tell you."|TRUE END]]
Master kept so many things in this car. Guns, gasoline, matches, flint, blankets, snacks, pillows. How it all fit in the trunk continuously baffled you. They came in handy, so you couldn't really complain.\n\nThe matches were in your hand, along with the jug of gasoline. You drenched the wooden house in it. It wasn't hard at all... not that you expected it to be. Then you struck a match and let it fall.\n\nRed flames dotted the horizon as you drove away.\n\nYou weren't supposed to do that. Bring him home... you had to bring him home. Now you had to do something else. Go for a walk? Drive 12 hours? But the fire looked so beautiful.\n\nMaster would be angry. \n\nShit.\n\nYou wished you could feel the heat of a fire on your skin.\n\n[[Fucked it up. Sorry, sorry, sorry. So sorry.|Sorry]]
Your stomach churned just thinking about how Master would react to what you did. Frantically you tried to think of something to make it up to him. He'd never know about the fire. Unless the news covered it, but that would take time. He could get angry then but it would be okay because you would make it up to him now.\n\nYou slid out of the car and walked down the street. After a few minutes and a few strange looks you realized your arm must be bothering a few neighbors. You removed your shirt and managed to make a wrap around your arm, concealing the melted skin. Perhaps that would be less questionable.\n\nThere weren't that many people out today, which made you a bit sad. That made things harder in a sense. It did make less witnesses but bringing someone home with you without people noticing would be hard. \n\nThe sun shone in your eyes when you looked up. There was a way... Master had built a way. Everything depended on if you could remember how to get there. First came grocery shopping.\n\n[[To the coffee shop.|Coffee shop]]\n\n[[Somewhere downtown would be okay.|Downtown]]
Five minutes into your walk around town you saw him. Perfect, beautiful, and charming. Calvin. He was exactly what Master needed. Approaching him would be rather easy... but convincing him to come home would be more difficult.\n\nAs things turned out, it wasn't hard to convince Calvin to come home with you. The hard part was carrying him home after you knocked him out outside the forest. He wasn't as light as you originally concluded.\n\nYou managed to open the back door with him on your back but once you got inside you dumped him. Master was waiting, clearly having seen you hauling the poor guy back there. He looked pleased. Not scary. Pleased. Not disappointed. Pleased.\n\nUntil he realized who it was. \n\n"Why?" Master questioned. "Why did you bring back someone so loved? People will search everywhere for him. You're so fucking... I hate you. And your arm—how did he not take notice of that?"\n\nYou look to your previously wrapped arm. The makeshift bandage had come undone some time along the way without your noticing. Master was getting scary. You cowered against the door, gaze focused on the floor. "Sorry..."\n\n"Sorry won't cut it. He obviously would know something's wrong if he just fucking wakes up on the street. Now I have to kill him!"\n\n"K-kill...?"\n\n"..." \n\n"Master...?"\n\n"Come here, <<print $playerName>>," He whispered all too sweetly. He didn't wait for you to reply, grabbing your damaged arm and ripping it from the socket. It would take an enormous amount of strength. Not for Master. He could do it with ease. "You know what this means?"\n\nIt hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. It hurts. \n\nYou shook your head. One hand felt where the robotic arm used to be. Blood. Frayed wires. A tear seeped from one eye. It hurt too much. Being a cyborg hurt too much. \n\nNever normal. Never a human. Never able to feel like a human. Nothing was good about this. It hurt deep down where you wished to be like everyone else. There was nothing normal about your life.\n\nMaster did it. Killing.\n\n"I'm going to kill him, just like I've done with all the rest, you ignorant fool."\n\n[[Was killing wrong?|Kill]]
The roads were empty and all was peaceful. You were sure if you left your windows open you would be able to hear birds chirping. But they were closed. And you weren't going to open them. \n\nA wave of sleepiness overcame you for an instant. Immediately you reached for a bottle stashed in the sunglasses holder. Two pills tumbled into your hand. For you it was easy to swallow them dry. You could do all this without taking your eyes from the road, of course.\n\nFields rolled out from each side of the road. They reached the horizons. A few houses dotted the open expanse. You already had a name in your head when you thought of visiting the countryside. \n\nJames.\n\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.\nJames.....\n\nYou had to pull over. Get a grip. Tears formed in your left eye, dripping slowly down your cheek. You rubbed at it with one hand. This wasn't supposed to happen. You weren't supposed to feel bad about this. It was your job, right? This was what you were made to do. \n\nMaster was scary when he was disappointed. So scary. So scary.\n\n[[Don't be afraid.|Afraid]]
Merde
The first thing you saw when you woke up was Master's—no, Kale's— sleeping body slumped in a chair. The first thing you thought was 'Did Kale die too?' and the first thing you said was “This isn't heaven, then."\n\nThat empty feeling where your arm used to be was gone. There was something there and it had fingers that could move and flex. You could move freely. Now all you body felt as heavy as metal. But you could move it.\n\nKale had stirred when you had spoken and now he was awake, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. When they opened fully you could see he ruptured a blood vessel. The bloodshot organs stared at him intently, grossly. They seemed to smile as you stood up and hobbled over.\n\nWalking was like taking that first step when you're a child. You fell and Kale came running, picking you up and holding you tightly, stroking your hair. He was saying something that sounded reassuring. \n\nYou were not dead.\n\nKale was not dead.\n\nYou threw yourself away from Kale. The way he scuttled across the floor slightly resembled how a crab would walk across the sand. \n\nThere was hurt in Kale's expression when he did so. That was the first time you saw something that looked like care coming from this devil.\n\n“I brought you back!” Kale said happily. But he also seemed frightened. How could he be? He had complete control over you. There was nothing to fear. “And now… you're not even human at all anymore!”\n\nNothing could suppress the look of dismay on your face. You were... not human? You were already different. You were always different, but now there wasn't any way you could be normal like you wanted to be for so long. There was no way for you to just be average. Everything was ruined. You had done nothing to deserve this. You followed all Kale's orders until you couldn't. All this for one small mistake...\n\nYou would never be free.\n\n“You…” You said in a raspy voice. Clearly you hadn't used it in a long time. “You monster!”\n\nIt was Kale's turn to look horrified. “How can you say that to me after I rebuilt you again?! Because of your carelessness, you died. I wanted you to live.”\n\nCarelessness? Purposeful. Kale was wrong again.\n\nYou breathed heavily, trying to control and compose yourself. “I didn't want to live!”\n\n“You said you did! I thought you did!”\n\n“You're wrong. I don't want to help you kill. I find no pleasure in something as disgusting and horrible as slaughtering innocent people. I find no pleasure in helping to destroy lives. I find no pleasure in being with someone like you! You can't control me!”\n\nKale could only stare, opening and closing his mouth like a broken toy. \n“I don't want to control you...” Kale confessed, standing up. He walked over to you. Something about his posture told you that Kale wasn't going to hurt you. You pulled yourself to you feet. \n\n“You don't?” The question was cautious.\n\n“Not anymore,” Kale said slowly. “I used to, but now… you can leave me whenever you like. I just wanted you to stay with me. I missed you. I missed you helping me. I missed helping you, taking care of you. I wanted... I wanted that.”\n\nYou could walk free of this disgusting, awful monster or you could stay. It sounded as if Kale really did appreciate you, but you could not judge a man you didn't know. And you didn't know Kale. Both of you never took the time to talk about yourselves. You knew nothing.\n\nIt was Kale's fault you would never be normal, that you would never be human. He ruined everything. Even if you knew him, you couldn't forgive him for what he'd done. A monster was all this man was. \n\nAnd so you got up and left. Kale didn't try to stop you, but you could hear him crying. That was the first, and last, time you saw Kale show anything that could be considered love towards you. \n\nBut hearing him cry felt so good. So happy when he cried.\n\nBefore you ascended the ladder you heard him call "<<print $playerName>>." in a sweet, soothing tone. \n\n[[Turn Around|Turn around]]\n\n[[Go up the ladder, <<print $playerName>>.|Ladder]]\n

It was still early in the morning when you got into town. Not many people milled about. That could either be good or bad. Right now it was bad. There wasn't anyone to take home to Master, which would make him angry. You didn't like him angry. Pleasing Master was what you were made for.\n\nYou glanced around one more time before sighing. You'd have to go home... empty handed. Once more you looked around before turning back.\n\nGoing home with nothing was a disappointment. You were a disapointment. But there would most likely be no one at a coffee shop if no one was in town. Master would be angry... You had to risk it.\n\nThe walk home was longer than usual. Of course it was the same length but it felt like an eternity. Reluctantly you pulled open the door. Silence. The house was empty. Where was Master? You could always hear him going about unless he was in his laboratory. \n\nYou decided now was an alright time to go into Master's lab. Normally he didn't permit it, but...\n\nYou pulled open the cabinet door. It was hard to open considering it had to fit perfectly in place. No cracks. You descended the ladder, feet making a soft sound when you stepped onto the cold, hard stone. It was dark. Now you could hear Master.\n\n[[You have to tell him something.|Tell]]
Burning someone's house down would be tragic and cruel. You could never bring yourself to do something like that, but you came for a reason. You gazed up at the beautiful woodwork and padded up the stairs, putting on a polite smile. You rang the doorbell.\n\nIt didn't work.\n\nYou knocked.\n\nJames answered the door with a sleepy smile. He seemed a bit confused to see you, but happy nonetheless. That put you in a good mood. It pushed the fact that you contemplated lighting his house on fire from your mind.\n\n"James..." You said, scratching the back of your neck. There wasn't anything you could say to explain your being at his doorstep. \n\n"I go by Jamie now," Jamie said. "Didn't you get the memo?" The tone was playful, if not a bit concerned. "I came out, like, four months ago... <<print $playerName>>, you really are behind on everything like Kale says."\n\n"Uhh..."\n\n"I'm a girl..." Jamie moved from the doorway then, motioning you in. "I guess you wouldn't understand."\n\nShe was right. You didn't. But Jamie and Master were friends so Jamie could do whatever she wanted and you wouldn't care. You didn't have a clue what Jamie was to Master but they discussed complex things you didn't understand. Science and math and stuff.\n\n"Actually I'm so glad you stopped by. I was gonna ask if Kale'd let me borrow you for something! Well, I did, but I forgot about it until now." Jamie began rambling on after bringing you a glass of grape juice. "You don't mind coming to my room, right?"\n\n"No. If Master says it's okay, it's okay." \n\nJamie chuckled and shoved you up the stairs. "Of course, of course. I always forget how obedient you are. I wish mine were like you."\n\nShe led you into a white room. Everything was plain, like a hospital. It carried the same sterile scent. You almost gagged. Jamie looked right at home as she began to pull out a multitude of instruments.\n\n"Okay, which arm can I actually hit your bloodstream in?" She questioned, poking at your flesh. You display your left. "Goodie!" And she pressed the shot in. After that you don't remember much. Being carried to a table was one of the few things you did.\n\n[[Master couldn't have agreed to this.|Knife]]
The cashier gave you an odd look. Everyone gave you odd looks. What was wrong? No one said anything. Only the cashier spoke when you decided to order.\n\n"Are you okay?" They asked.\n\n"Of course." \n\n"Then what's with the, uh, bandage?"\n\nYou look to your arm and frown. "I just needed to put my shirt somewhere..." Terrible liar.\n\n"... You have to wear a shirt..."\n\n"Oh. Sorry."\n\n"It's okay... As long as you're not bleeding or anything."\n\nThey let you pay and go. You got the drink and more looks. The workers let you sit down without any more comments. Fine. People continued to give you looks so it was hard to survey the shop. No one came near you. You couldn't go near anyone. \n\nYou huffed and stood up. Then you left. It was worthless waiting around for something that wouldn't happen. You'd have to go home empty handed... Master would be furious, but perhaps you could calm him down? You thought about what to do on the way home.\n\nWhen you arrived at the front door you had nothing. And Master was already waiting. A frown was set into his features. \n\nHe silently led you inside. He silently slapped you across the face. He silently stripped you of the rest of your clothing and sat you on the kitchen floor. He silently unwrapped your arm and scowled at your work.\n\nMaster left your there for a while, naked and cold. He came back with a screwdriver and other tools you can't name. The process of detaching your arm began. It didn't take long; it didn't hurt. Your body felt much lighter once the ruined arm was gone. Master left once it was over, disappearing into his lair. \n\nHe left you there again. Did he not care? This... always happened whenever you did something to make him angry. Sometimes it was worse. Sometimes he'd just send you to bed. But he never seemed to care. There were no pills for you to take. You were tired and he wasn't coming back.\n\n[[Go to bed.|Bed]]
"I can take the car, right Master?" You asked politely, leaning over the kitchen table. Master gave a shrug and handed you the keys. A grin spread across your face. "Thank you!"\n\nGetting the car to start took some effort. Despite everything in the house being new and in mint condition, the car was not. It was old and wasn't reliable, but once it was started it ran like a dream. \n\nAfter ten minutes you had the thing going and pulling out of the driveway. How far would you need to go this time...? Last time you were out you drove 12 hours. You weren't in the mood to go so far today. There wasn't a lot around where you lived, but there was enough.\n\n"Maybe... the countryside...?" You thought aloud. Your fingers tapped against the steering wheel. It had been a long time since you'd actually been out to the farmlands. And the people there were always helpful and sweet.\n\n[[Head out to the country.|Country]]
You pulled the door open cautiously. Then you stepped inside when the coast was clear. At least, you thought it was. But Master was ready to greet you, looking displeased. You knew news didn't travel that fast around here but you came home empty handed, metal exposed. \n\n"I—" You started.\n\n"I don't want to hear your excuses, <<print $playerName>>," Master said. "You came home with... nothing. This hasn't happened before. I trusted you. And your arm.... God knows what you've done, but I'm having none of that bullshit. I told you what'd happen if you fucked up again."\n\nAll you could do was nod. No time for apologies now. Deep down you felt a bit happy. Master was showing some emotion towards you. That was always a bonus. Everything in this house was always a facade.\n\n"Come with me," Master said, motioning to the kitchen. \n\nHe showed you the room under the cabinets. He pushed you down the ladder first. He lay you down on the operating table smeared with blood. He pulled tools from the walls. \n\nYou couldn't name any of them other than a scalpel. \n\nAnd he cut open your chest right there, telling you to watch and learn. How could his laugh sound so sweet?\n\n[[Wanted to say "I'm sorry".|BAD END 1]]
"Master... something is wrong."\n\n"With you?" Master suddenly looked concerned. "<<print $playerName>>... Nothing should be wrong after I updated your software..."\n\n"Not with me. With you. You seem down, Master..." You felt bad for pointing it out, but Master smiled. Things were okay, right? \n\n"I'm just tired. Don't worry. You know what to do today, yeah?"\n\n"Go grocery shopping."\n\n"Right! Don't be late for dinner."\n\n"I won't." Excitement coursed through your veins. You were right about today being important! Master would be in a wonderful mood tonight if you got him the best ingredients. Perhaps he'd even let you watch the process... \n\nYou grinned at Master.\n\n[[Ask to drive the car.|Car]]\n\n[[Go walk. Exercise is important for your health.|Walk]]
After ordering your drink you sat down, holding the warm cup in your hands. You knew of most of the people in the shop but they didn't know you. If they did they would come say hello. That was how things worked. It was very, very good.\n\nYou contemplated who to take home when someone tapped your shoulder, causing you to jump. You turn to look at whoever disturbed you, deciding that would determine their fate. They were smiling, though it wavered. Very cute.\n\n"Ah uh..." They said. "No one can tell me where..." Green eyes glanced down at a card. "Kale Brezden lives. Do you... perhaps know?" They looked so hopeful.\n\nThat was Master's name.\n\n"Yeah, yeah!" You stood up excitedly. Looks like today's work shouldn't be hard at all. Master had done everything. You had to remember to thank him later. "I can show you!"\n\nThey smiled and thanked you, joining your party. The two of you walked home in near silence, the newcomer asking questions occasionally. Of course you had to answer. It was about Master. \n\nThere was a path through the forest behind Master's house. It was to be used if there wasn't any other way back. Keep no witnesses, he said. Now was a good time to use it. You'd never actually been in before, yet you knew the path by heart... It was probably Master's doing.\n\nVer name was Morvick. You didn't really like it but it wasn't like you named vem that and it wasn't like you could change it. Morvick told you on your travel through the forest that ve was something you called "non-binary" and "trans". You didn't know what this meant but you smiled and nodded along. Ve taught you how to use new pronouns, which was exciting.\n\nYou thought Morvick didn't really understand that ve was talking so much. That was okay. It wouldn't matter later. Maybe you came off as someone who would listen and understand?\n\n[[There's the house. Go in the back.|Back Door]]
Why didn't he care for you? Weren't you his? Long ago he would call you perfect. Not anymore. He would berate you, rarely praise you or treat you like a human. Master would hurt you. While you liked the reality of it, it made you sad.\n\nThe ceiling became rather interesting as you tried to fall asleep. Bumps and stains fascinated you as you thought of how much Master must hate you. It was as you laid awake, observing every blemish, that Master came and settled down with you. He held your hand for the first time. When he spoke it was very gentle and quiet.\n\n"You took your medicine tonight, right?"\n\n"Yes," You lied. It was hard to be around him anymore. Especially with how he treated you when you failed. Your hand tightened around his and your eyes slid closed. "Thank you for taking care of me."\n\n"You're welcome <<print $playerName>>. I..." He trailed off as if thinking about what to say. "Good night."\n\nYou nodded.\n\nHe kissed you on the lips. By then your eyes had already closed.\n\n[[Master was a bad person.|BAD END 4]]
It was in your best interest to ignore Master's moods. Usually he'd get pissed if you point out if he's unhappy. You didn't understand why but you didn't question him. He was Master. Everything he said and did was right. \n\n"Are you not going to ask what the matter is?" The curious words are muffled by a mouthful of food. They still caught you off guard.\n\n"You look fine to me," You reply with caution.\n\n"Do I?" His eyebrows scunched up. "This looks fine to you? I look like shit. I'm exhausted and you haven't done shit <<print $playerName>>. I can't expect anything out of someone as useless as you." \n\n"That's not..." \n\nHe didn't let you finish, standing up abruptly and grapping you by the arm. Long nails dug into your skin until you bled. You didn't dare fight back, but let him pull you to his room where you were thrown on the bed. He was on you in seconds, not giving you a chance to get away.\n\n"Do you not care about Master?" He whined. "I'm hurt, <<print $playerName>>. Why would you do this to me? I made you to care about me. So care about me. Caress me. Kiss me. Do SOMETHING."\n\nYou stared up at him in confusion. Kiss? Why would he want that? Since you had to do as he said you leaned up, pressing your lips to his. He smiled into the kiss, easing you both down. It felt nice. You wrapped your arms around him.\n\n"I just wanted you to notice... You seem so distant all the time," He said when you parted. "Was that wrong of me to do?"\n\n"I liked it."\n\n"Really?"\n\n"I can't lie to you, Master."\n\n"... Thank you very much."\n\n"Was it really alright for me to do that?" You worried if he would be angry later. He had asked... but it was somewhat out of line as something built to serve. \n\nHe nodded and smiled. "I liked it too." And he kissed you again. You laid there together, holding each other.\n\n[[Until an angry Master woke you up. Just a dream.|GOOD END 2]]

Walking was a good idea. Exercise was always nice, really. Not that it affected you much either way. Every bodily function was kept in check other ways. Master made sure everything was perfect. How kind of him!\n\nA smile crept across your lips as you strolled along. Master really did care about you. He was one of the kindest humans you'd ever met. Though he was never pleasant when he was cross but you just had to make sure to not do anything wrong. And if you did something good he'd praise you. \n\nSo nice. So kind.\n\nYou wished you could be like him. But you weren't even human. You could never be like him, never feel the way Master does, and never care. It was impossible. You wished it wasn't.\n\nThere weren't that many people out today, which made you a bit sad. That made things harder in a sense. It did make fewer witnesses but bringing someone home with you without people noticing would be hard. \n\nThe sun shone in your eyes when you looked up. There was a way... Master had built a way. Everything depended on if you could remember how to get there. First came grocery shopping.\n\n[[To the coffee shop.|Coffee]]\n\n[[Somewhere downtown would be okay.|Town]]
The matress shifted down, waking you up. You blinked the sleep from your eyes and gave them a rub but they closed soon after. Something warm and wet pooled up against your body. You jumped from the bed, wide awake then.\n\nMorvick's body greeted you—at least you thought it was vem; the head was gone—blood pouring from multiple wounds. Ver intestines lay displayed on the sheets. The fabric was no longer pale blue. Master sat at the edge of the bed, holding ver head. \n\n"Something went wrong. I didn't want it to, but it did," He sounded sad. "Why did you bring vem to me? Why? Because ve asked for it? That's fine. But ve messed everything up. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it." He repeated his last words over and over. \n\nThen he stood and stepped towards you. His fingers wrapped around your neck, tightening. Your hands reached up to meet his. It was impossible to pull them away. Master was strong. He knew it. And you didn't have the strength when you couldn't breathe.\n\n"Morvick wasn't perfect. We can't have that. I can't eat that. You messed up. You know I hate it when you fuck things up, <<print $playerName>>. All your fault. Your fault."\n\n"M... You pulled the blankets over your head to block out the rising sun peering into the cracks between the curtains. Even if today was an important day you really didn't want to wake up. Last night had taken a toll on your body. Working made your back and arms ache. \n\n"Nnn..." You groaned when the bed shifted. Someone had laid down with you. Probably Master... That was bad. Every day you had to make him breakfast. Oversleeping was not an option... You pushed yourself up on your elbows.\n\nA hand pushed you back down. "No, don't get up. I came to tell you I'm going out today so you can sleep all you want," That was Master's voice. He rarely did chores himself... was something going on? "Don't worry about a thing."\n\nBut you did. Your eyes flew open and you shrugged him off. "Master... Please don't do this. It's my job."\n\n"I told you not to worry." \n\n"But..."\n\n"No buts," He smiled down at you with warmth. You loved his smile. "I'm going out today. I worked you too hard yesterday, so go to bed. Trust me!" He pushed you down again, pulling the covers back over you. Master even fixed the blinds, tugging them so no light could peek through. \n\nOnce he left you drifted off to sleep. Today would be an easy day... You didn't know what that was like. Perhaps it was nice? It sounded that way. No work...\n\n[[That made you smile.|GOOD END 1]]

Was this heaven? If it was, heaven sure as hell wasn't comfortable. Cold metal met your body. It was hard and unwelcoming. There was something holding you down. You pulled at the straps but they only tightened. \n\nWhen your vision came into focus you could tell this room was not heaven, but Master's laboratory. You were okay. For now. Because something inside you ached. And it wasn't your head, though that pounded too, which was strapped to the table.\n\n"Ah, you're awake!" \n\nMaster's voice.\n\n"Gluhhh..." You gurgled. It was difficult to make words. Blood bubbled from your lips as you made noises. \n\n"No. No. No. Stay still. You're making up for bringing that... here."\n\nYou realized what the pain in your chest was. Master was digging around inside you, pulling at your parts. All your feelings were numb. It didn't hurt that bad. He'd given you something but you were still awake. You could just barely see him tear you apart, one organ at a time. \n\nMaster set the organs aside in jars. You thought you saw him smiling, grinning. You definitely heard him humming as he worked on removing your lungs. At least that's what you thought was happening.\n\nThe only thing you heard before you blacked out again was "Shit!".\n\n[[Master... Why?|BAD END 2]]
